The Králický Sněžník nature park has many attractive hiking and cycle paths, some of which can be best accessed by using the Dolní Morava resort chair lift. This is one of the easier routes!

The lovely Baroque pilgrimage church and scenic views make the hilltop site of Anenský vrch a rewarding destination for easy walks in the lower Jeseníky mountains.

The smart resort town of Čeladná is a good base for exploring the Beskydy region. This easy walk in the hills around Čeladná is a gentle introduction to the scenic terrain (and fine dining options!)

The Satinský falls are a series of small but picturesque Beskydy waterfalls, easily accessed from Frýdlant. The falls are accessed by a steep footpath, but it is worth the scramble!

The museum at Rožnov, on the edge of Beskydy, is the largest such museum in the country and has a superb collection of relocated and reconstructed folk architecture from the region.
Along the Beskydy border ridge between Bílý Kříž and Konečná: 15 km to 25 km routes
A fine footpath runs for many km directly along the CZ/Slovak border in Beskydy, offering walks of different lengths. This circular route is one of the nicest, with a couple of good restaurants.

Various routes along the scenic border ridge above the village of Bílá can be created using bus connections at Bumbálka and Konečná, but really keen walkers should try the 29 km loop!
A varied circuit in the Beskydy mountains to the Kotlová ridge above Horní Bečva lake – 12 km
Horní Bečva reservoir is a popular Beskydy swimming spot. Before taking a dip, consider a hike up to Kotlová mountain. There are a couple of scenic refreshment spots on the way!
The climb to Lysá Hora (1323m) from Ostravice train stain -16 km
This classic hike up Lysá Hora, the highest peak in Beskydy, is often started from Ostravice. Lysá Hora is one of the windiest and wettest places in the country so come equipped for all weathers!

The impressive medieval castle ruins of Starý Jičín dominate the skyline near the Moravian-Silesian town of Nový Jičín. Take the easy path to the hilltop for an impressive view amidst the ruined walls.

Nový Jičín is a jewel in the Moravian-Silesia region, full of historical buildings, including the unique Žerotín chateau and a superb town squares. It is definitely worth spending a little time exploring.
An easy walk from Nový Jičín to the Baroque chateau at Kunín – 7 km
The splendid Baroque chateau in Kunín is well worth visiting. Take the easy path along the Jičinka stream starting in Nový Jičín to reach the famous chateau where František Palacký was educated.

If visiting the Olomouc area take a moment to walk to the impressive basilica on Svatý Kopeček. This Moravian landmark has been an important pilgrimage site since the 17th century.
A walk along the Rejvíz peat bog nature trail in the Jeseníky hills – 4 km
Rejvíz, the highest village in Czech Silesia, is mostly known for its peat bog. There is an interesting educational trail leading to this famous wetland area, which has the Great Moss Pond at its center.
A circular 5 km walk to the Priessnitz spa from Jeseník
One of the country’s most famous spas, Priessnitz, sits on the hillside above Jeseník town. The circular walk from the valley up to the intriguing spa area is a recommended short trip if in the area.

There are several routes up Praděd the highest peak in Moravia/Silesia, the easiest of which starts from the ski resort of Ovčárna and ascends the asphalt road. The views along the way are glorious.
