The new visitor center in the reconstructed Tři Trubky hunting lodge is definitely worth a visit. The 3 km forest trail beside the Klabava river up leading to the center is also super!

A stroller-friendly circuit around Kolvín on country roads and bike tracks with classic Brdy views and villages, some disappeared, some just coming back to life after the opening of the area.

This circular route from historic Hostomice visits the legendary resting place of the Brdy guardian spirit, Fabián. It is a scenic trail, with an excellent café at the finish point!
The Komárov nature trail at the northwest edge of the Brdy highlands: 8 km to 10 km
The town of Komárov has an excellent nature trail which explores the area’s rich history. It is a pleasantly varied trail at the edge of Brdy with good views and even a swimming lake!

The Ostrý peak traverse is a very scenic hike featuring an ascent through attractive mixed forest to the fortified peak. Start in Hořovice and take time to visit the magnificent chateau.

The Padrť Ponds nature trail is one of the prettiest routes in the area passing the two largest ponds in the Brdy region. The valley is also the site of six ‘vanished’ Brdy villages.
A walk along the Bradava mill stream, starting in historic Spálené Poříčí: 6 km (extendable)
Spálené Poříčí is a small west Bohemian town, with an interesting history. Take a short walk along the attractive Bradava stream (continuing if desired into the nearby Brdy hills).

Třemšín is one of easiest accessed of the Brdy 800m peaks and also has one of the most scenic ascents, especially along the ridge on the northern side of the peak.

The 18th century Hořovice chateau is a relatively unknown Baroque gem, hidden in the heart of central Bohemia. Visit the park and excellent café on this easy walk at the edge of the Brdy hills.

A 10 km circuit in the Brdy hills starting at Zaječov, location of Bohemia’s first Augustinian monastery
Zaječov is a convenient starting point for circuits in the Brdy hills. This walk is short, but still gives a good taste of the classic forested landscape, and passes the Augustinian monastery, founded in 1262.
An 8 km circular route around Nad Maráskem (805m) in the Brdy highlands starting at Míšov
There are ten Brdy peaks above 800m. While Nad Maráskem might be the lowest it has an attractive rocky summit and is easily reached from the village of Míšov, which has some good refreshment options.

Praha is the second highest peak in the Brdy highlands and offers some good viewpoints. This easy walk on wide paths is best in autumn or winter, when the trees and paths can be snowy.
