A circuit from Radotín, through the new ‘Golf Park Praha’ and back along the Berounka river: 11 km

• The 5 km stretch of cycle path along the beautiful Berounka river between Radotín and Černošice is a popular trail, not just for cyclists but also for joggers and of course walkers! It already features elsewhere in the guide as a short walk making use of the frequent trains between Radotín and Černošice. Until 2025, however, there was no easy way to return back to the start point along a flat path, without retracing steps along the bike path.
• However, the opening of the 9-hole Golf Park Praha located in the flood plain between the Berounka and Vltava rivers, has allowed a nice circular route to be created. Somewhat unusually, a cycle trail runs right through the middle of the golf course, essentially linking Zbraslav with Černošice.
• The cycle paths are mostly a flat asphalt and the route is suitable for strollers. It is an excellent all season walk – the river can be at its best in winter. Various refreshment options exist in Radotín and Černošice, including the cukrárna Hájek & Hájková, which is just across the main road near Černošice train station. There is also a microbrewery/restaurant in Radotín, the Pivovar Horymír (which serves excellent unfiltered beer) or try the Kavárna Pelíšek, serving good coffee and cakes.

Directions

• Start at the Radotín railway station (either by taking the train, or using the Park & Ride car park). Cross under the railway and head into the centre of town on Vrážská street
• After 600m reach Horymírovo náměstí, where the RED hiking trail is met
• Take the left hand fork of the RED trail, which leads after 150m to the Berounka river. Cross the river on the footbridge and continue for 1.4 km on the RED trail until reaching the entrance to the golf course
• At this point turn right off the RED trail and follow the cycle trail markers through the golf course and then to the footbridge over the river at Černošice, reached after 4.1 km
• Cross the river on the footbridge and turn right onto the cycle path. Remain on this path, directly beside the river, all the way back to Radotín, reached after 4.7 km
