*A walk around the Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm: 4 km*
- The Wallachian Open Air Museum was first established in 1925 to preserve and celebrate the culture, traditions and timbered architecture from Moravian rural communities between the late 18th and early 20th centuries. Original farmsteads, cottages, churches, mills, smiths and school buildings have all been relocated or reconstructed over a hillside area on the edge of the town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. It is the largest open air museum in the country.
- Many of the photogenic buildings have original furnishings from a specific period and some are still in use as refreshment stations and shops. The restaurants serve local specialities and are worth investigating. Try the pub at the far end of the original museum area (the Wood town), called Na poslední groši, which has a nice large terrace area.
- The museum requires a ticket for entrance and the area with the mills can only be viewed in the company of a guide, but the other areas are free to wander around at leisure. A full tour of the whole area is around 4 km long, on easy paths that can be managed with a stroller. There is about 60m of height to ascend/descend.

Directions
- The three museum areas have a logical layout and no particular route plan is needed. For the largest area – on the hillside – there are signposts suggesting a recommended route, but all the buildings are worth visiting in whichever order is preferred
