The 3 km green trail – a short tour in the Prachovské skály
- This tour takes in both the central and northern sections of the famous Prachovské skály, with spectacular views from the bottom and top of the rock formations
- The walk starts at the main Prachovské skály car park, and both this and the trail can be extremely busy at weekends during peak season (April to October) and during school holidays
- The green trail involves more climbing than the shorter yellow trail (from the same start point) but has more variety in terrain and views that than shorter version
- Total walk length is 3.3 km, with 190m of height gained/lost on the route. There are significant number of steep step sections to navigate
- Access to the trails for this walk requires payment at the ticket office
- Refreshments should be available at the restaurants located at the car park

Directions
- Start and finish the walk at the (paid) Prachovské skály – Turistická chata car park. Note: this can get very full at peak times.
- Enter the rock area through the ticket office (payment required during the season ). Most of this walk is on the GREEN trail which starts immediately after the ticket office.
- After 200m, at the Zelená rokle signpost the GREEN trail forks to the right. Take this turn
- After 170m reach the F1 crossroad. Continue straight on the GREEN trail
- After a further 300m the trail takes loop to the right to visit the Šikmá věž viewpoint
- Continue on the GREEN trail for 400m and divert to visit the Míru viewpoint, and then another 400m for the Hlaholská viewpoint
- 140m from this last viewpoint, the GREEN trail turns sharply to the left at the U Hlaholské vyhlídky signpost, down steep steps. Take this path
- The path winds up and down steeply through the northern section of the rocks for 800m, before reaching the valley floor
- Continue on the green trail for 500m back to the car park
