The official 14th stage of Cyril and Methodius Bohemian trail is simply too long to enable hikers to see all the sights! This author’s recommendation is to split the stage – as described in the text.

This scenic Svratka valley is easily accessible from Brno and is full of historic sites to visit, as well as a variety of refreshment options. This is an excellent day trip!
*Pernštejn castle and the nearby forest nature trails: 3 km to 8 km*
Pernštejn is one of the country’s most spectacular castles. A visit is highly recommended. Nature trails in the surrounding forests offer super views of the castle from multiple angles.
