*An easy walk along the unique Kladská peat bog nature trail: 3 km*
- In a forest clearing, just off a side road 7 km northwest of Mariánské Lázně, walkers might stumble upon the tomb of Prince Otto Sigismund Schönburg – Waldenburg, who was buried in this peaceful spot in 1936. The prince was a passionate hunter and nature-lover. He acquired the Kladská estate as an inheritance from his father and spent much of his time in his beloved Slavkovský forest estate.
- The prince’s local legacy is far more than a huge bronze tomb. He developed and protected the important elevated wetland areas around Kladská, which can today be enjoyed by taking a short but beautiful nature trail starting in Kladská hamlet. It is one of the nicest short trails in western Bohemia.
- Most of the trail is on wooden planking and circles around the main pond – Kladský rybník – and a couple of smaller marshy ponds. The trail has some excellent information boards (in Czech, German and English).
- Kladská hamlet is notable for its Swiss style hunting lodge, built by the prince in 1876. The lodge today is a hotel. Just behind the lodge is an information center focused on the natural environment in the Slavkovský forest area. It is small but well done.
- The nature trail is just under 3 km long and is completely flat. It can be managed with a stroller. Refreshments should be available in a small pension-restaurant next to the hunting lodge.

Directions
- Kladská can be reached by bus from Mariánské Lázně and there is a paid parking area just behind the hunting lodge
- Follow the trail in a clockwise direction, starting from the car park (perhaps visit the information center first)
- The trail is marked with the usual green-white diagonal stripes, but the boards make it difficult to get lost!
